What an amazing night and a fun party! Many thanks to all those who helped make this show a success; the organizers and volunteers all came together and created something that everyone really enjoyed. I am looking forward to seeing some of the new people I met again soon!
I performed after a couple of great musical numbers and had a wonderful time showing everyone there my magic. As I was driving to the venue, I received a voice mail message saying that the original plan for my prediction was not going to work anymore due to some changes in the event. Fortunately, my prediction is a world-class piece and I was able to adapt it as I drove there to ensure that I was correct!
At the end of the evening, I successfully predicted the winners of two silent auction prizes: a Mini Cooper for the weekend (which they never rent out) and a weekend for two at the Sheraton Wall Centre. I only made a quick run through on the pictures that were taken, so I will post them, when I get a chance.

Charitable Performance: PHS Community Services Society
Vancouver
The PHS Community Services Society is dedicated to helping people who live in the Vancouver Eastside area and who are struggling to regain their lives. I hope to entertain and inspire these people to continue to make positive changes in their lives.
The PHS Community Services Society is a resource centre for high risk drug users and women in survival sex trade that fulfills a harm reduction mandate. Peer run, and low threshold, the centre provides opportunities to reconnect with culture and community while participating in low threshold job training, having access to community kitchen groups, free laundry, showers, internet and phones. Run by the community for the community, The LifeSkills Centre nurtures a respectful and welcoming atmosphere.
This was an amazing show. I am so glad I was able to make it and to perform for these tremendous people who are continuing to make positive changes in their lives. I performed a few customized pieces to help inspire, encourage, and show pride of what they have done so far. It truly was an amazing way to end this magical year. I look forward to 2008 even more now!

Corporate Function
Chapel Arts, Vancouver
This corporate function was a lot of fun and was held at a wonderful venue: the Chapel Arts. I was fortunate enough to be able to perform with some great acts (Belly Dancers, a wonderful Jazz Fusion band, and recording artists 54/40). Recording artist Bif Naked was also in attendance. I mingled around the crowd initially and then at the end of the evening, performed a short stage show. Everyone enjoyed the entire evening and I look forward to many more shows at this wonderful venue.

Spirits were up as people were playing Nintendo Wii, playing games to win prizes, and enjoying a lot of great food and beverages. In the evening, I headed out to North Vancouver for a show at the Lonsdale Quay Hotel. This was an awesome Las Vegas-themed event. As I entered the room, I felt like I was walking onto a casino floor. Gambling tables, buffets, bartenders, showgirls, and Elvis himself greeted me. I completed the Las Vegas feel as I mingled with the crowd and performed for whoever wanted to experience some magic. The audience was incredible and I had a lot of fun with them. This night was amazing. While I would like to say I was the most amazing thing, I would have to say it really was the food. It was "Seafood Fest" and I enjoyed every delicious bite. Hopefully, this exclusive party will become an annual thing. Perhaps you'll join us next time, as I will be able to bring a few guests!

Master Class in Las Vegas
Las Vegas
This was yet another incredible week with master teachers, Jeff McBride and Eugene Burger. These two magicians have won countless awards and have been performing magic for decades all over the world in various different venues. Jeff has been performing at Donald Trump's birthday party for the past 20 years. During the week, we were fortunate to meet and have private time with Master Magician Lance Burton, Mac King, and Criss Angel.
The instruction and advice was absolutely amazing and I look forward to the dramatic improvements in my upcoming performances! I would recommend this class to any and all magicians, regardless of skill levels. If you are just starting out, then this is also the best thing to help you start out properly and develop the best act you can.
In addition to all of this great stuff, CBC was there filming a documentary on the class and I was asked to perform for them. I am hoping to make the final cut and get on CBC, the home of Hockey Night in Canada!

This show was extremely special for me as it was for my father's surprise 50th birthday party. He was definitely shocked to see me and my brother, as my parents live in another city. However, we made the trip along with a bunch of his friends and it made for a great night. Happy 50th, Dad!

Vancouver
As I boarded the ship known as the Magic Charm, I knew that this show was going to be a hit. I moved about the crowd on each level of the ship and entertained everyone there. The buffet dinner was fantastic and I was pleased to help make the wait pass by quickly for those who did not get to go right away. After dinner, I moved about from table to table and performed some more to ensure that everyone who wanted to see magic was able to. At the end of the cruise, I had a large gathering of people up on the deck and performed a few of my specialty pieces to thunderous applause and cheers. I look forward to performing for this group again, as they are amazing!

Late Night Drop-In Youth Program
Richmond
This show was a lot of fun. As some of the youth came in and out of the event (they also had some great live punk bands playing), I was able to entertain them. Those who stopped and watched really received a special show. The volunteers enjoyed the performance as much as the youth and I'm sure that I had just as much fun as they did. I look forward to coming back and performing again!
This night is even more special as it is free to all those who wish to attend.

Sunshine Coast Canadian Cancer Society Relay For Life
Sunshine Coast (Roberts Creek)
It was wonderful to head to the Sunshine Coast again for this show. This one was the third year in a row for me. Seeing friendly, familiar people was great and once some realized that I was there, I was instantly performing. After a few hours of performing and conversation, I departed to a beautiful Bed and Breakfast for the night.
The amazing people at Rosewood Country House kindly offered me a night's stay. This Bed and Breakfast is absolutely stunning. The view is incredible and the rooms are truly amazing. I enjoyed some reading in their beautiful backyard before the show and slept extremely well in the comfort of one of their rooms in the evening. In the morning, I was treated to a wonderful breakfast.
I would recommend everyone check out their website; I know you will enjoy the wonderful photos they have on it. I am truly grateful for their kindness. For contact and booking information with Rosewood Country House, please visit their website: http://www.rosewoodcountryhouse.com/

CityFest 100 - North Vancouver's 100th Birthday
North Vancouver
In the morning, the overcast weather looked like it could have rained on our event. Fortunately, the clouds just blocked the sun so everyone could enjoy a fun-filled day of entertainment and activities. I mingled amongst people as they waited in line, watched other events, or walked around. Everyone was in great spirits and enjoyed the magic. It was a lot of fun and it's always great to be at a 100th Birthday Celebration!

Hastings Sunrise Community Policing Centre - Keep Vancouver Spectacular Community Clean-up
Vancouver
This show was a lot of fun! Those who volunteered to help create a cleaner community saw my magic performance. I strolled around as people were arriving and enjoying some pizza. After the delicious pizza was eaten up (many thanks to Panago for the pizza donation), I performed a few pieces for the entire group. Everyone was in great spirits and at the end of the event and I am still very appreciative of their tremendous applause. I thank everyone there for helping to make our communities cleaner!

Many thanks to Blackwool Cooperative for organizing the event!

There's something about performing at weddings that I will always love. Everyone is in a great mood, looking to have fun, and that's exactly what we all have. Christopher performed at a wonderful 60th Birthday party in Delta on this evening. It was great to see some people in full Elvis gear, as the party had an Elvis theme. "Sorcery" featuring Christopher James
With Special Guest, Travis McPherson
Urban Well
For me, the best thing about magic is performing it for people. I love to be around people who are in a great mood and projecting a great vibe wherever they are. Bring some magic into that vibe is incredible for my audiences as well as myself. Seeing and hearing their response to the performance creates a feeling that I will always crave and never forget.

"Sorcery" featuring Christopher James
With Special Guest, Travis McPherson
Urban Well
This was a great show. Travis drove up from Seattle and we headed right down to the Urban Well for some dinner and to gear up for the show. People started arriving and it was nice to perform some magic for them right at their tables. Travis had everyone buzzing about the forks he was bending and twisting right in front of their eyes. Bursts of flames could be seen all around the Urban Well, as I was using some firey magic to thank everyone for coming.
From there, I went into the main act and everyone enjoyed the evening. It was great to perform for the group as a whole. The set went through very well, with only a few spots of trouble with some mic feedback. Once those were quickly sorted out, things kicked into an even higher gear and the show ended with minds being controlled, things floating, and some big flames.
After the show, we stayed and enjoyed the incredible atmosphere at Urban Well and performed for a few more people at their tables. I would like to thank every person who took the time to attend the show. I really appreciate it and I loved seeing some familiar faces and meeting all the new ones.

David Noble opened up the show to an intimate audience and performed brilliantly. His style proved to be charming and amazing and everyone enjoyed his performances. I look forward to seeing everyone again real soon, along with some new faces!

Squamish Relay for Life for the Canadian Cancer Society
Every Relay for Life is a fantastic showcase of each community's individual identity. This event had that element and it was great to see Squamish shine. While driving to the venue, I admired the beautiful scenery and envied those who got to experience it every single day. On one side of your vision, you have incredible mountains and on the other side, the Pacific Ocean. The event itself was incredibly organized (like the others) and had some great activities for everyone to enjoy! I performed for a couple of hours, enjoyed the event myself, and helped with the fight against cancer.
Additional donations to this cause can be made through their website, www.cancer.ca.

Meadowridge Private School
This school has a unique class that teaches the art of magic to interested students! This class is taught by David Noble. At the end of the year, the students all perform a show for friends and family.
It was great to see the students performing for an actual audience. Fortunately, I was able to see every student perform and they all did a fantastic job. I hope that they are all very proud of their performances because they should be. After that, it was amazing to watch David perform some of his favorite pieces for the entire audience. From there, I was fortunate to perform for a fantastic audience and I believe everyone had a magical evening!
Many thanks to David Noble for inviting me and for putting together a wonderfully unique course in the fine arts.

North Vancouver Relay for Life for the Canadian Cancer Society
I performed at this event last year and had a great time, so it was a lot of fun to return and perform again. What original was planned for about two hours of magic turned into over four. I was able to perform for some of the same people who saw me last year and that was a real treat. I always love running into previous audiences so I can show them some of the new material. This was definitely no exception.
In addition to the fun performances, they were also filming a documentary about the event. I was fortunate enough to be a part of that filming and I'm hopeful to make it into the final edit. Once I find out, I'll be sure to let you all know and hopefully post a clip on the site!
At the end of the night, we heard that over $261,000 was raised! Given that they do several Relays for Life in various cities, it's great to know that this concept is working all over the country and it's generating a lot of money that can be used to help find a cure for cancer. I hope that I can perform at this event again next year!

Sunshine Coast Relay for Life (Canadian Cancer Society)
This show was only possible because of the generous folks of a wonderful, Victorian Bed and Breakfast in Roberts Creek. They welcomed me and my girlfriend as their guests for the night of the performance. Like every time I head to the Sunshine Coast, I got lost. They helped me make the right turn and I was there in no time.
Just pulling up to the house told me that this was going to be a great place. The house was beautifully built and definitely looked like it was from the Victorian era. Inside, it had that great look merged with some modern elements perfectly. The eggs benedict we had the following morning was incredible and I look forward to staying there again.
The show itself was also fantastic. You have to understand that everyone here, absolutely everyone, is friendly and very welcoming. Even if you spend a day there, just interacting with the people makes it feel something like home. They turn the Roberts Creek Elementary School into a fundraising party. While at least one person from every team has to walk for 12 hours straight, they also have some great things for everyone to do while they are not on the track.
From live music from various performers on a stage to sports and face-painting, I loved being there to see some of the watermelon eating contest! I performed some walk around for a couple of hours, and just hung out and talked with those who wanted to share some of their time with me. I then performed an hour-long show for a group that completely filled one of the tents. The tent had those small Christmas Tree lights running along the ceiling and it created perfect lighting for a magic show. The entire track was also lined with candles from a special luminary ceremony that was held after sunset. The energy was incredible.
Once everyone settled down, we got right to business and right into the thick of the show. It was tough to speak loud enough so everyone could hear, but it seemed like everyone understood what was going on and enjoyed each piece that I presented. At the end, I was honored to sign a few cards to some of those who saw the show and made some great friends yet again. I really hope I can perform there again next year.

Accenture and Best Buy Canada Ltd.
This was a special show for me because it was the end of an era and meant saying goodbye to a lot of people who were a large part of my life for many years. It was great working with them day in and day out, and that did make it hard to leave. In the end, we all knew it was what I had to do, and that when the time came, it couldn’t be the wrong move.
This also meant the official retirement party for a single effect that I now do not perform. It had become somewhat of a legend around that place, with only a select few actually experiencing it. At the request of many, I did perform it and those who had always wanted to see it were able to for the last time. Of all the different personalities that are still keeping that place alive, I know I won’t forget a single one.
For booking information, please contact Christopher.
